GTAW/TIG

For the home handy man wanting to weld aluminium bull bars or a nice stainless steel exhaust to the professional wanting to land that big job in the petro-chemical industry.…. Our trainers have the skill and site experience to get you moving in the right direction.

Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) requires more training time, manual dexterity, and welder coordination than MMAW or GMAW but the rewards can be fruitful.  More specialised = more money!!canstockphoto22739515

As with all our processes we can arrange a training package to suit your needs and speed, if its only 1 day for structural steel welding to AS/NZS 1554 or 2 weeks for stainless steel pipe welding to ASME IX and AS/NZS 3992, we tailor the training to suit your needs. Also  we are the only training facility in Australia that have testing facilities in house to qualify weld procedures & welders with results being available quickly, sometimes the SAME DAY!!!

In the workshop we have NEW Transtig 220 AC/DC machines able to give you the ease of high frequency start for everything from welding aluminium to pulse welding duplex stainless steels with low heat input. Or we have scratch start machines to simulate the cheaper machines often more available/used by the home handy man.
