AS2214 Welding Supervisor and/or AS1796 Certificate 10 Welding Supervisor

Looking for a new direction?      ……     Is it time to get off the tools?

As more companies increase their level of Quality Control the demand for Qualified Welding Supervisors is also increasing.

No longer is it suitable just to have a tradesman overseeing your day to day welding activity and calling him a welding supervisor, the role of the Welding Supervisor has become far more important and complex.  It requires someone who has intimate knowledge of the codes and standards that apply to welding, someone who can witness and write weld procedures, someone who understands materials and their different behaviours and much, much more.

So someone who has achieved a WTIA Welding Supervisor’s certificate is a valuable asset to any company that wants to control quality and increase productivity.

Australian Welding Academy is pleased to be able to offer the training courses for you to become a Welding Supervisor/Inspector.

Because of the inflexibility of many training institutions, we have made arrangements with TAFESA which allows our students to study for the AS2214 Welding Supervisor or AS1796 Cert 10 Welding Supervisor qualifications.  The training is conducted as an external student, which means you have the learning materials and workbooks with you, allowing you to study at your own pace.  This allows students to complete the course from home with Australian Welding Academy providing guidance throughout the course and handling all the paperwork.

The course is made up of 5 separate modules, and you are given 6 months from date of enrolment to complete each module, although it is possible to finish a module in significantly less time.
