For Beginners
Would you like to hire a full equipped welding booth for a couple of hours, half a day, a full day or even longer? You can bring in your own project to weld with tuition, hints and tips from our expert trainers or you can practice on our bevelled plate and pipe. All consumables such as wires and gases are included in the price. Just bring long work pants and steel capped boots, we will supply everything else you need. You can work at your own pace and our trainers will be on hand to help with any problems you may have.
You can practice one or more processes in your training time, change from MIG to Stick to TIG or why not give all processes a try?
We can teach you
- MIG,
- FCAW,
- Gasless FCAW,
- TIG and
- Stick arc welding
You can also try welding different materials such as galv, stud framing, carbon steel, aluminium, stainless steel and exotics like duplex.
If you have your own welding machine and would like to know how to use it to its full potential feel free to bring it in. (As long as it complies to our safety standards)
So whether it’s for a couple of hours or a couple of weeks we can design a package to suit your needs at an affordable price, we can usually book you in with just a day or two notice.
For the more Advanced
Do you have an important weld test coming up?
Would you like to get some practice in before the test?
Once you know what the test is you can come in and practice under test conditions with our Welding Inspectors on hand to give advice and assess your weld for compliance. We can even macro test your practice piece to give you even more confidence that your weld will pass.
